3rd International Congress on Fragile X Syndrome, FXTAS and FOP
20, 22, 23 and 24th of March
The Catalan FXS Association (Associació Catalana Síndrome X Fràgil) has organized a conference, on March 23rd, on the latest developments in FXS, FXTAS and FOP for professionals of the medical field. The presentations will focus on therapeutic intervention, personal autonomy, and integration in school. Speakers include Drs. Paul and Randi Hagerman. At the closing session youngsters from the association will present some experiences of self-sufficiency. The congress has been recognized of “health interest” by the Catalan Institute of Health, Government of Catalonia.
There are additional events organized in the same week such as a Large Mutual Aid Group session with an expected turn up of 100 families, or a conference for Spanish and European families and professionals or students of the socio-educational and health fields, and an address at FCBarcelona during the match Barça-Granada, projecting images of FXS and 30 words dedicated to the syndrome.
